My passion for teaching began under Lawrence Auer, PGA Professional at Azalea City Golf Course in Mobile, AL. I continued my development with Derrick Mason, former PGA Professional at Bayou Barriere Golf Club and TPC Louisiana.

Golf Digest Teaching Professional
Being recognized as a Golf Digest Teaching Professional is a national distinction awarded to top instructors who demonstrate exceptional teaching knowledge, communication, and results. This honor comes through Golf Digest’s Best Teachers program, one of the most respected recognitions in the golf instruction industry.
Each year, Golf Digest assembles a panel of over 1,500 of the most trusted instructors in the country to vote on and contribute to the list. Members of this panel include some of the game’s most influential coaches—such as Butch Harmon (former coach to Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson), David Leadbetter (coach to multiple major winners), Sean Foley (former coach to Tiger Woods), and Hank Haney (Tiger’s long-time coach and respected author).
Being part of this nationally recognized group means aligning with a standard of excellence. As a Golf Digest Teaching Professional, I stay committed to the ongoing pursuit of better, more effective coaching for golfers of all levels—especially those just starting their journey or working to break through performance plateaus.
FlightScope Professional
As a FlightScope Professional, I’m an expert in the use of FlightScope radar technology to analyze and improve golf performance. FlightScope is a trusted launch monitor used by coaches and tour professionals around the world to measure detailed swing and ball flight data—including club speed, ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, carry distance, and more.
This certification means I’m trained not just to operate the technology, but to interpret the data in real-world teaching scenarios—helping players understand the "why" behind their swing patterns and ball flights. It allows me to deliver evidence-based feedback, take the guesswork out of improvement, and tailor lessons for each golfer’s unique tendencies.
Whether you're working on swing mechanics, distance control, or equipment optimization, this technology gives us the tools to make measurable, lasting progress.
NASM Golf Fitness Specialist
As a NASM Certified Golf Fitness Specialist (GFS), I’m trained to assess and improve the physical movement patterns that directly affect a golfer’s swing efficiency, power, and injury prevention. This certification is offered by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)—a globally recognized leader in performance and corrective exercise training.
The GFS curriculum focuses on how mobility, stability, strength, and flexibility impact key swing mechanics like rotation, posture, balance, and sequencing. As part of my coaching, I use this knowledge to create custom fitness programs that support proper swing development and help golfers move better both on and off the course.
Whether you’re looking to hit the ball farther, protect your body, or simply move more athletically, integrating golf-specific fitness is a vital part of your long-term improvement.
